Last fall we decided the girls needed something worth their time to "save" their allowance for. We told them that if they saved all their allowance and did extra chores, we would take them to Disneyland in February. They each had to save $62.00. Emily had her $$ pretty much already saved, but Natalie worked her tail off for the next few months for about .25- .50 cents per chore. Finally the money was saved and we left for California leaving the boy with Annie, Gran, and Papa.
